This light and responsive cross country mountain bike is highly tunable for a variety of trail conditions. Set the adjustable Rock Shox Judy SL U-Turn suspension fork at 70mm of travel for pavement, gravel or dirt roads. When the trail gets tough set it at 108mm of travel to soak up the bumps from rocks, roots, and ruts. Power transfer is smooth and reliable with a 27 speed Shimano Deore/Deore LX drive train. Stay in control under hard braking; Hayes hydraulic HFX9-XC disc brakes have a light lever feel allowing you to apply as much or as little force needed to get you stopped. Sure-footed WTB Weirwolf tires round out the package and feature rows of large knobs to form dirt clawing paddles that stay in contact under the worst trail conditions.
