Same great mountain shoe with Lake's new joint development and the new Mountain V sole from Vibram, the world famous Italian sole maker. Vibram's exclusive rubber compounds and Lake's exclusive design produce an aggressive sole with unmatched stability, durability and comfort. The MX160 is exceptionally secure for hard riding/racing with enough room in the toe box to prevent binding when running up inclines or negotiating a hike-a-bike section. The upper is made from action leather that is thick and very durable, and breathable nylon mesh. 6 Point laces closure with a vented tongue and opposing dual Velcro straps. It also has an external molded heel counter, an aggressive sole and toe studs. Compatible with all SPD off road pedal systems.
