Ritchey 9 Speed/8 Speed Shifters

Ok these are a bit odd, but once explained they make some sense. Back in the days before shimano 9 speed groups you could add a dished 33t cog to a 8 speed cassette and have a 9 speed cassette spaced like an 8 speed. Hook up these 2x9 shifters and POOF! You have a nine speed mountain bike. The tinkering possibilities are endless. So these are great if you need 8 speed shifters and don't mind an extra click, or you have a dished cog ready to slap on there.
