Shimano XT/Ultegra 9-speed Freehub Body

Replace your blown freehub body without rebuilding your rear wheel. Replacement is easier than most people think, and is a great opportunity to overhaul your bearing at the same time. Just remove the cogs, and remove the axle and both sides of bearings. Insert a 10mm allen into the lockring side of the body and loosen. Remove the body, retain the sleeve, install the new body, tighten to spec, clean, grease and reinstall the bearings, axel and cones, then adjust. Usually takes about an hour. Fits most 9 speed shimano hubs.
