The Ti decreases the weight of the classic design by incorporating titanium body pieces and premium-grade premium-grade stainless steel spindles, reducing the weight to a feathery 230gm, yet remaining ultra-sturdy for aggressive riders. The revolutionary 4-sided clipless pedal design is ingeniously simple, and provides four sides to clip into, making entry a no-brainer: just step down as you would with any normal clipless design. Enhancements for 2003 include alloy end plugs that eliminate axial movements, grease ports for easy maintenance, and redesigned double lip seals on bearings for improved resistance to contamination.
