Aluminum light head is designed to protect emitters from impact and overheating. Battery pack is designed to securely strap to various tube shapes or fit in water bottle cages, jersey pockets or hydration pack. Built-in dimmer switch on spot lamp and comes with an optional remote dimmer switch for wide-range lamp. Constant current technology maintains full brightness throughout run time and it won't overheat. Custom-made power cables provide a strong, water-tight connection, sealing the system from the elements. Five-cell NiMH battery is engineered to be water-, vibration- and impact-resistant. Includes helmet mount and standard/oversized universal bar clamp. Includes two lights with Luxeon® III emitters; one has a wide beam and one a spot beam. Power modes produce light at 30%, 60% and 100%, plus a flash mode. Run times from 3.5 hours with two lamps blazing at full blast to over 20 hours with one lamp dimmed down to 30%. Sleep mode also keeps the battery from being "cooked" until it looses the ability to hold a full charge. Solid-state, high-efficiency Luxeon® III emitters ensure dependability and long run times. SuperCharger recharger provides a full charge in 4.5 hours and light can remain plugged into battery whenever it's not in use. System X has a sleep mode which maintains the battery at a full charge when it's not being used. System X6 puts out roughly 170 lumens of brilliant blue-white light or roughly equivalent to a 25-watt halogen bulb.
