Hand-operated linear-pull brakes control both wheels, providing smooth, responsive deceleration. Lightweight aluminum frame provides vertical stiffness for prompt acceleration and power in climbs; it's also easily lifted for storage and transport. Platform pedals accept most casual shoes.
