Adjustable seat post and handlebar stem let you dial in the fit for nothing but comfort (with so much adjustability, one size fits most people). Also, low center of gravity lets riders sit on the bike with their feet flat on the ground, providing unsure riders stability during starts and stops. Flat Foot Technology™ combines a slightly rearward riding position with a chainset mounted forward of the seatpost. Hip retro styling, enhanced stability and sweet, sweet ride are all signatures of the Electra Townie® 21 cruiser. Linear-pull hand brakes provide controlled deceleration. Result is low center of gravity and full leg extension, which combine to increase comfort and pedaling torque compared to many comfort-category bikes. Semi-slick 26x1.9 tires provide a smooth and stable ride over a variety of riding surfaces. Shimano Tourney derailleurs front and back provide smooth shifting through all 21 speeds; geared for hills as well as flats. Suspension fork and shock-absorbing Townie saddle smooth out the bumps fore and aft. Total convenience: Platform pedals require no special shoes, and the full-length chainguard keeps dirt and oil away from pant legs.
