Alloy linear pull brakes provide controlled deceleration. Aluminum frame features gently curved seat stays that reduce road shock up the back end and allow rider to remain seated for long periods of time. Aluminum frames are vertically stiff, which results in efficient energy transfer from legs to drivetrain, quick acceleration and power for climbs. Double-wall rims, double-sealed hubs, stainless spokes and tenacious Kenda Kwest tires roll smooth and fast, and withstand road abuse. Flat handlebar provides a comfortable, elevated ride and a wide field of view; K2 Sport Fitness saddle combines support and comfort. Includes platform pedals with toe cages. K2 Reflex Road frame is constructed of 7005 aluminum tubing butted (thick-walled) at the ends for strength. Shimano derailleurs and Rapidfire Plus shifters operate 24 smooth-shifting gears for easy transitions from steep climbs to fast downhills.
