Frame design takes into account that women have longer legs and shorter torsos than men; accordingly, there is less reach from saddle to handlebar. Lightweight aluminum frame with 100mm of front suspension keeps you in control and won't weigh you down. Manitou front shock provides 100mm of travel, enough for all the big bumps; it's pretuned for light riders. Mechanical disc brakes provide sure deceleration control; brake levers are sized for female hands. Narrow handlebars enhance both comfort and riding control. Rear coil shock is also pretuned for female riders and features adjustable rebound damping. SR Suntour 42/34/22 triple crankset and SRAM 8-speed cassette provide plenty of low-gear, hill-climbing capability. SRAM twist shifters are intuitively simple to use, and they keep your hands firmly in control of the bike. Saddle is shaped to match a woman's anatomy, yet it's not so big that a rider can't slide off the back side as the ride dictates. The full-suspension T:Nine Ridgeline is tuned for a woman's anatomy and provides control, comfort and efficiency for advancing off-road riders. Uses narrow, light tires, as most female riders require less air cushion than men to protect rims from off-road abuse. ![]() |
