Easy-to-use twist shifters let your hands remain in steering control while shifting; small-diameter dual-density grips accommodate a woman's hands. Ergonomic, short-reach brake levers fit a woman's small hands. Flat handlebars with ergonomic aluminum bar ends increase hand-position options for more comfort on long rides. Grips have color-matching T:Nine end plugs. Includes a kickstand so your ride parks upright without need of a bike stand. K2® Tradewind combines road bike efficiency and speed with the comfort of mountain bike controls. Large 700c Alex rims and Kendra Kross tires provide maintainable, swift speed and smoothly roll over small bumps in the road. Made of lightweight 6061 aluminum tubing; frame sizes and geometry accommodate a woman's inseam and torso lengths. No special shoes required—platform pedals with shock-absorbing inserts accommodate a variety of casual shoes. Provides 24 speeds geared for comfortable climbs, controlled descents and liberating speed across the flats. T:Nine Aspiring Road saddle with gel padding, a female-specific shape and comfortable cover material maximizes rider comfort. Tektro hand brakes provide controlled deceleration; levers are shaped for a woman's hand and sized for a short reach.
