Features a sporty mountain saddle with scuff guards to protect against minor mishaps. Frame is constructed of 6061aluminum tubing for lightness and strength, and gusset-reinforced at the critical junction of the down tube and head tube. Hayes mechanical disc brakes provide dependable stopping power no matter the terrain or weather. K2 Trail MTB saddle blends comfort with lightweight, tough materials to keep you riding in comfort. Kenda Klaw XT tires feature feature front- and rear-specific tread for aggressive traction and positive control. Lightweight wheelset features durable Alex ID19 double-wall rims and smooth-rolling, disc-compatible hubs. Quick-release seat clamp lets rider adjust saddle height for up- or downhill terrain. RockShox front fork evens out the bumps with 100mm of travel and adjustable preload. SRAM 8-speed cassette and Truvatic triple crankset provide a wide-ranging 24 speeds for assertive hill and cross-country rides. SRAM Trigger shifters let a rider shift with thumb and first finger rather than hand and wrist, as with less-sophisticated twist shifters.
