Carbon-fiber front fork and seatstays reduce road shock that typically flows through an aluminum frame, without creating a significant loss of power. Designed for an upright, natural ride, Marin® Venezia offers carbon seatstays, a feature usually found only on far more expensive bikes. Double-wall rims remain true against the typical abuses of road riding; CNC sidewalls aid in smooth braking action. Dual pivot brakes provide smooth deceleration and dependable stopping power. Kenda Koncept 700x23 tires minimize road friction for a sporty ride. Long head tube and short top tube create a natural, upright ride optimizing comfort without sacrificing efficiency. Marin Plush Road saddle provides support and comfort for day-long rides. Powered by FSA CFM 52/42/30 crankset spinning an eight-speed cassette in back. Shimano Sora shifters, Tiagra rear and 2203 front derailleurs let you play through all 24 speeds. Triple-butted aluminum frame offers vertical stiffness, which translates into quick acceleration and efficient use of the rider's energy in a climb.
