A lighter and stronger Force Transfer System Light (FTS-L) hub allows energy to flow freely to the entire wheel. Sealed cartridge bearings are easy to maintain, produce low friction and are both adjustable and removable. When Mavic says entry level, they don't mean bottom of the line--Aksium is a high quality wheel at an affordable price. With UB Control, the sidewalls of the rim are milled on digitally controlled machines after anodizing for efficient braking.
