Compatible with UST tubeless style tires (as well as traditional tube tires). New rear hub design uses radial crossover lacing on the drive side and 1-cross on the opposite side. Please note: These wheels are not compatible with rim brakes, and disc rotors are not included. Sidewall spoke mounting results in a lightweight, extremely strong rim. Spokes are stainless steel with aluminum nipples. These wheels are designed with cross-country riding and racing in mind and feature tubeless tire technology. Tubeless tires offer more versatility in tire pressure for either reduced rolling resistance or added traction. XT-level ball bearing model uses Shimano's Center Lock disc rotor mount; enjoy the advantages of disc brakes without the weight. Yields an 8 mm wider triangular base that increases lateral rigidity by 20%; results in increased power transfer and lighter weight.
