BMC SUPERSTROKE 01 FRAME '06 (Large image)
What's wrong with most long-travel bikes? The suspension works great, but they don't pedal worth a darn. Not the BMC Superstroke! Yes, it'sheavy duty and can take a beating, but BMC didn't forget that you liketo RIDE all over the mountain - pedaling up, bombing down. Circlingback to hit a fun jump again.
So they designed itwith 150mm of rear wheel travel to eat up rough terrain and snappygeometry. Add an efficient Fox Float rear shock with AVA, and theresult is a long-travel machine that still retains great pedaling andhandling characteristics.
BicyclingMagazine says "If you're a fan of plush, glued-to-the-groundsuspension, this bike has it. It maintains thisfeel even when torquing hard through rock gardens, tracking the groundwithout kicking, or feeding into the pedals."and "Solid frame, superb suspension".
