The NiteRider Solmate uses the same high quality headlamp as the MiNewt.X2,but with a more economical NiMH battery. Just like the MiNewt the Solmateis constructed with a custom-made reflector and Borofloat lens tominimizes loss of light, and maximize light output. The Solmate offers the same level of performace as the Sol, but with the convience of a helmet and handlebar mount. Add to this the8-hour Sol smart charger, that constantly monitors battery level allthis makes the Sol a killer deal on a great light.
