The new 7800 Dura-Ace hub design features an oversizehub shell body and sturdy spoke flanges that increase hub rigidity and wheelstrength with an astounding reduction in weight. Front and rear hubs incorporateoversized 15mm aluminum axles that help counter the flex that occurs in contemporarycarbon fork designs, as a result improving steering response.

Hubs roll smoother from the result of improved high-precisionassembly tolerances, low friction seals, stainless steel balls and high-polishedraces and cones. A refined freewheel design, forged from high-strength, lightweight,durable aluminum is added to the FH-7800.
