YETI SEVEN FRAME '08 (Large image)
Initial availability expected June, 2008 per Yeti. A pre-order holds your place in line, your card is not charged until shipped.
The Seven is Yeti's new freeride monster, replacing their AS-X frame for '08. But this isn't just a re-design, it's a radical new concept with a single-side chainstay design and 7" of travel. Fox's high-end DHX Air 5.0 shock delivers maximum adjustability with a 15 click ProPedal adjustment and adjustable bottom-out resistance.
The highlight here is a new, custom 12mm design that allows the chainstay and seatstay to rotate independently around the rear axle. (Frame is 135mm spaced, use with any 135mm x 12mm rear throughaxle hub)
- Claimed 7.2 lbs (size Medium)
- Yeti "Pure" aluminum tubeset with Enduro Max sealed pivot bearings
- Carbon chainstay and dogbone
- Massive 1.5" head tube lets you use today's aggressive 1.5" forks, or a reducer headset to lower the front end and use a 1 1/8" fork
- ISCG '05 chainguide mount
- Accepts E-Type front derailleur (or use with a single ring setup and no derailleur)
- Accepts 30.9mm seatpost, 73mm bottom bracket
